The term shojo or shoujo manga refers to manga marketed to a female audience roughly between the ages of 10 and 18.
Shojo manga stories can be sweet and romantic or dark and dramatic. Beside romances of every flavor, there are girls manga centered around sports, science fiction or gothic horror themes.
